clash

...the scene is thus; its september 76 and the clash are third on the bill to crazy cavan rhythm rockers and kursaal flyers at the roundhouse in old london towne...the kursaals have picked up a bit of a student/pub rock following in the past couple of years and crazy cavan have a staunch ted followin and the clash aint got no cats checking them out so they just explode in rage and anger at the complacency of things...joe berates the audience more than once telling them to shake off the post hippy lethargy that is still hanging in the air all these years later...great historical document luckily booted for all to hear and catch the vibes from the nascent punk scene that would soon envelope the hep planet and beyond out into squaresville...this is also more than worthwhile for it displays the very early 5 piece combo before the art-school influences overtake them with spray paint and slogans and they slim down to a more manageable attack force...
...disco...
