...this cat is a bit o' a mad scientist type cos he digs on inventin' his own instuments 'n utilizin' 'em...on this disk he uses a thingamajig called th'drum buddy'n he also managed to unload a few in th' market place...th'racket is basically off kilta new wave fed through a blur 'o funky noise but not too commercial to make it gimmicky drag...absolutely worthy o gettin' a few spins in th' more discernin' cats pads, nicely nice 'n spiffin'...

I was luck y enough to get one of the first series of ten he built in his New Orleans Spellcaster Lounge workshop & play it in The Golden Greats and Toyboat Toyboat Toyboat, plus DJ gigs. It's an awesome innovation, not so much for the sounds it emits, but the user interface, a spinning can with holes drilled in it so that the photoreactive cells read the holes like a music box spindle.
